The main objective of the project "Visegrad Group Partnership of Economic Associations"* is to step up the scientific excellence of the Visegrad group countries through the intensive cooperation between the universities and research institutions in the field of economics. The project establishes close cooperation among the economic associations in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary which connect main targets groups (senior researchers and academics, young researchers, doctoral students, and policymakers). We also target policy makers on the European level, the national level, and on the regional level to enforce an international policy debate and fill the gap between the academic research and policy-decision making processes.

We organize a joint conference of three Visegrad economic associations:

The conference was held on 12-13 September 2019 on the Campus of Mendel University in Brno.

* The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
